Hi, welcome! This is where I freeze my memories, showcase my ideas and trace myself. The reason why I wanted to create this site is not for self-glorification, but to establish a decent personal space on the web, so we can easily connect!

Within my professional capacity, I am more than happy to meet and talk to you regarding following things:

  • Music: Help you connect with the right people locally in Indonesia, regionally in South East Asia and globally – mostly in the UK. Consultancy around digital presence, digital strategy, online-offline engagement and monetization for musicians in Indonesia.
  • Media & Journalism: building a content-driven team for multi-platform environment, finding a local go-to person for anything related to digital content around the region. Establishing DIY editorial team for niche segmentation, but with high quality journalism.

A bit about me:

In 2010, I graduated from Universitas Padjajaran under Communication faculty, majoring in Journalism before finally landed on my first job at National Geographic Indonesia as Text Editor for National Geographic Traveler. Crazy time it was, as my life was literally on the road all the time. During my time with natgeo, I won two journalism awards and led several expeditions, my top 3 were the South Java expedition, Sumba cover story and the overland South East Asia expedition.

In 2012 I was in the middle of preparing my scholarship when I moved to The Jakarta Post as writer for their travel desk. This is also the year when I launched Sounds From the Corner together with my buddy Dimas Wisnuwardono. The project has now subscribed by more than 100K people and produced more than 100 videos.

It was a short stay with Jakpost, before in 2013 I finally moved to London to continue my study at Goldsmiths University of London. Studying MA in Digital Journalism, I was one of the lucky recipients of Goldsmiths’ International Post-graduate Scholarship. In-between my studies in the UK, I also contributed to Rolling Stone, National Geographic, and freelanced for BBC World Services. You can check out some of my journo works here.

It was 2015 when I moved back to Jakarta to join Twitter. But prior that, at the end of 2014 for 6 months I joined GetCRAFT, which probably the first Content Marketing platform ever existed in Indonesia. I was their first employee, acting as Head of Content. I joined Twitter mid 2015, was the 3rd employee in Indonesia as they were kickstarting local team in Jakarta. I headed Partnership at Twitter for Indonesia (later South East Asia), which gave me opportunity to work with various people: from President of Indonesia, Dangdut starlets, athletes, musicians to movie stars.

In 2017, I quitted Twitter. moved on and took the role as Indonesia Country Head for musical.ly. This is also the year when I created Archipelago Festival, a music conference and emerging talent festival. So yeah, that’s a bit about me, please get in touch if you need anything from me and have a great day people!
